No replacement for displacement. Any swinging dick can stick a super charger/turbo along with NOS onto a car. It takes skill to properly tune and build a drag engine or racing engine for that matter.

My ex's dad who owns the 'Ray (and the drag strip) works as a mechanic for a Chevy dealership in Michigan.

I don't miss the ex but I miss his dad and the shop and working on cars with him

I miss just going to the races period every weekend with Marcis Auto Racing back in the 90s.... I found some of my old NASCAR photos on the vaycay...good times, good times.

Yes I never understood how that would be comfortable driving at 200 MPH with those. Apparently Mr. Marcis converted his race shop into a hot rod shop. They specialize in building cars with SB2 race engines.
