Very true. Look at Hummer, it's no more. Either the Escalade dies or gets downsized.

Oh yeah I did, Nick is also very high up on the Boss ladder. These cars do attract some nice ladies though...

Lincoln's almost beyond saving. The entire brand is structured around the MKZ (rebadged Fusion) and MKX (rebadged Edge). MKS has been a sales failure for many months now, MKT was never a success...

If Ford's serious about continuing Lincoln, they need to establish more cohesive brand structure and give them more product.

It seemed like Lincoln was doing alright after the LS fiasco when those new models came out a couple years back, but like you said they definitely need to come up with some new stuff or bye bye.

The line is pretty thin, its disappointing to see car after car delayed or canceled with Cadillac. If GM is series they need to start a full line of upper tier luxury cars like BMW, Audi and Mercedes. GM needs to leave the soft luxury to Buick, if they can pull that off both brands have a chance of surviving.

How have sales been trending on the Escalade as of late? Haven't seen the numbers in a long time and I'm kinda curious now.

So true, if they wanna go against the big boys Cadillac needs to up their game. The STS was a joke against an E class, A6 or 5 series. From what I've heard, Cadillac and Buick do very well in China but other than that in Europe no one considers Cadillac's a competitor for the Germans. There are Escalade's here and there, but those are super luxury due to their price tag overseas.

Next generation full size truck platform = K2XX.

K2 denotes full size truck, last two letters denotes model line/variant.

For example, K2UC = Tahoe, K2UG = Yukon.

It will take some time, but after next year, they'll have a fairly well-rounded lineup. ATS, CTS, XTS, SRX, Escalade.

And the Omega flagship is on the way.

Sold about 10.5k units this year. Excluding EXT/ESV.

.
At least the STS and the XLR were an attempt that was semi-competitive when it first came on the market. I'm talking more along the lines of the DTS and SRX.
