I'd love to hear about it afterwards if it goes well. Wouldn't mind driving to Houston for a real tune.

If you're thinking about forced induction, I'd just invest in drag radials because when you do forced induction, no street tire available for the 18 stockers will hold that power

yeah i know. But i keep flip flopping. One day i want FI cause i want to keep this car, then the next i want a v8 to start from scratch. Are you gonna keep your 18 LTs and just put better tires on?

Yes, I actually already have better ones on. But haven't gotten to the track to actually test them out because it rained this Sunday. They feel a lot better though. But I'm probably just installing the suspension I have, installing the headers, and then doing some cosmetics and calling it done. I'm already looking into other cars that I can mod a lot easier. I'll more than likely be keeping this one as daily driver duty

I'm 19. I'm looking into things like a swap into a 240sx, a vette stingray with a 373 stroker, 03-04 cobra, mustang gt or anything I can make into a formidable street car. But I may save and wait until the new mustang and camaros come out. Depending on styling and aftermarket support I may go with one of those or a used ss or 5.0
I've already helped build a turbo tc that ate a lot of what was thrown at it and a cammed 06 gt with a few buddies so I know I can do it |

To be honest only way I have my Camaro is because of my parents. My dad made a deal that if I did well in school, helped around the house, etc. that I would get a new car. Originally I was supposed to get an LS which I was more than happy about but that's when my dad decided to upgrade the order to the 2LT so that I wouldn't spend too much money getting the car to be like a RS and all the other things. So so long as I stay at home for college and do well my parents will pay for my school, living expenses, car and insurance. When I'm done with college and leave he will transfer the car to my name and I will leave the house with no student loans. Hope that doesn't come across as a spoiled little rich kid because I really am not that way. |
