Pumpking? I drink the gourd out of that. There are good pumkin beers and very bad ones. This is not the time of the year to drink that though.

If that was kolsh beer, then I'd agree. I've never had a kolsch that I've liked.

Give Oskar Blues Royal Elder Kolsch a shot, if you can get it... YUMMY! There isn't a brew they make that I have yet to pour out.

If they used true Kolsch yeast then its a no go for me. I've sat with people while we all drank the same kolsch beer, everyone said, oh this is fantastic while I take a sip and offer it to them to finish and want to puke. I've had brew masters tell me that I just haven't had a good one and others that admit that for some it is off putting. My palette does not like kolsches and I really don't care. I live in MN, there are breweries popping up every day it seems, I can have thousands of other beers that I can enjoy.

Don't get me wrong though, they had Dale's Pale Ale on Nitro at one of my locals hangs and I had to have it! That's a bar that has 30 taps, all micro-brews. That Nitro Dale's was out of this world (not my first time having it). And I use to have to go to WI to get any Oskar Blues beers too, which I did!
