Back when I drove weekends, one of my bus routes had a stop at base.

Apparently ever since that route was created, they had been sending out the next driver in a van to meet the bus at a stop on campus. The first driver would then drive the van back to base and clock out.

WTF. The bus STOPS AT BASE. Why would you drive out to meet a guy who will be coming your way in a few minutes?

I finally raised that question to supervisors and they realized I was completely right.
