Great video of saving Lidia a DC3T crashed in Antarctica. Amazing people doing some amazing work to get her back in the Air.

One of these years I'll get down there for this. Set myself a goal of hitting at least one new air show each year. This year it's Thunder Over Michigan.

Funny story on the work front too by the way:

Just found my 2nd CRJ-900 with a roasted CF-34-8C5 after only 2 months on the Special Visit Line for Endeavor DTW. Impromptu hotside inspection for borescope training and whamo.. found the engine fodded out after the burner baffles. There goes $750,000-$1 million dollars. Last time it was cracking HPT stator vanes.

Irony of the whole thing: I took pictures of our last change and it was off of another Freedom bird. That was Serial 950, the current jet is serial 951. Methinks Freedom rode these jets a bit TOO hard before we inherited them. Even goes for our fellow operators for the Delta Connection CRJ700s. Daddy Delta wants shiny short haul planes, and we're delivering. But so is Mesa. Wonder who's gonna buy who next?

What do you guys think about this triangle aircraft that has been popping up for the past month or so. Experts have said that it is not a B2, RQ-170, or X-47B. Angles, dimension, etc do not match. Air Forces bases near where the sightings have taken place have said are not talking about it. What do you think we are catching a peek of?

March 10, 2014 southwest of Amarillo, Texas.

Spotted April 18, 2014 outside Wichita, Kansas.

i think they are real, but i also think they are different planes all together, and not having to do with existing 'known' planes.

the pics were taken by someone that is well respected and the chances of it being faked are low, but if you look at the bottom picture, you can see the leading edge of the plane is either reflecting the sunlight, or it is very hot.

I saw this video recently that was interesting too.

I think Lockheed, Boeing, and Northrop are gunning for the 2020 bomber project. Similar look to Lockheeds entry to the "Advanced Technology Bomber" program from '79 that lead to the B-2 Spirit.

Don't know what to make of it or anything I see pictures of anymore. Reminds me of the cancelled A-12 project(not the SR-71 variant)Hmmm? What's funny is we were flying Charlotte Phoenix a few weeks back and the controllers called out 3 B2's in formation to us as we headed across the Midwest. Were they the ones mentioned in this article?

Was just flying up to Anchorage early Wed AM and looking out across the water just SW of Juneau we saw a UFO
It was either the Space Station or a large Satellite hauling tail across a star-filled moonless sky or was it?
