Other than the 5.0 badge on the GT, there is no difference in the bodystyle between the 2010 and 2011, how would you know you have not seen any 2011's?

No need for the sour grapes or saying you would never drive a ford. It's okay to give respect where it's due. Granted the mustang isn't as good looking as the Camaro. But before I buy the Camaro I will test drive the mustang because well you always have to check your options

I don't know why giving some credit to another car is like pulling the life out of some people. for every praise of another car be it any car there is someone saying
"x-brand sucks and I will never buy it (clearly ignoring the good things it does) bla bla bla i'm an x-brand guy for life!!!!!" why not just say, good job?

Probably because you Mustang guys have constantly spammed this forum with 2011 Mustang information basically as soon as it's anounced, and then 4 additional times just to make sure everybody here has heard it.

We understand you like the car. Is there some reason we have to do this dance on our Camaro fansite? Isn't there a Mustang fansite you can visit to discuss this stuff with people who will also drool over the new Mustang with you? Why do we have to "give some credit" on anything?

Great !!! it only took 40+ years for the Mustang GT to run stock 12's, haha

I love the new 2011 Mustang GT 5.0, '10+ CamaroSS & 2008+ Challenger SRT8. The big three have a good base to build with & 1/4 mile times don't matter that much.

Honest answer, this is the most exciting place to hang out and he hates it.
No, because he has been here long enough to realize that these threads are just a back and forth about which car is "more common, sells better, is liked more" or any other form of bs. That crap started on the first page, I am NOT the first source of confrontation in this thread.

My "contribution" to the thread- I see both up here in Grand Forks. Albeit it feels like there are more Mustangs up here, the presence that the Camaro has seems much greater.

I don't own a mustang but it doesn't murder my soul and eat me alive inside to give the car some respect and give credit where credit is due, it's a car. what's wrong with giving it props look how it's performing, why the denial really.

You should look at how many Mustang posts you make on this website, and then reconsider who you accuse of being in denial.

If people on this Camaro website don't care much for the Mustang, it's not because of denial. It's because Camaro's rock, and we love them. Got it?

Can we please keep this thread on topic and not let it turn into another Mustang vs Camaro thread?

Again, if you have nothing constructive/pertinent to add to the conversation at-hand, then please refrain from posting your opinions in the thread.

Bullshit, you're here for one reason and one reason only. I find it funny, but don't pretend you're not here to be a snarky annoying poster.

Also, I think Evan Smith was driving, no? (I may be wrong, this is just what I've heard) Are you REALLY comparing a time posted by a professional driver, who has posted some of the best times for some cars, to a list of regular owners on here? Really?

Thread moved...it really doesn't belong in the main CAMARO section of the site.

Does it matter who was driving? Yes, Evan Smith can drive, but so can some of the "regular" owners on the Camaro fast list. In fact, I would hazard to guess that some of them have as much, if not more, experience at drag racing as Evan Smith. I mean, c'mon, the screen name of the fastest stock Camaro driver is "nhra stocker".

There are a couple owners around here. The mustang people i know of around here dont like the change they made to the rear end so they are sticking with there 05-09 model or getting a challenger or camaro.

I suppose we could. Or you guys could have posted this in one of the other 5 Mustang threads currently at the top of the general automotive forum. You know, instead of putting it in the main forum, accusing all the Camaro owners of not having "respect" if they disagreed, and telling people to "stay on topic" if they object to the whole thread.

You know as well as I do that this newswill be reposted 4 more times by other Mustang fanboys anyway. Why don't you relax and let some of us Camaro fans post what we want in our own forum? You'll have plenty of opportunity to discuss the Mustang in one of the reposts.
