The best he ran was 11.81 @ 123 sir. That's also uncorrected, and comes to 11.6 @ 124 corrected.

A Ford engineer also ran 11.8 @ 121 I believe, earlier in the day. This was all while most cars has 30 passes on them, and were heat soaked from the track.

When put side by side (aka same track same day), I think that we'll find the GT500 on top of the ZL1 in more than a few categories.

The ground will break once they get it dialed in. This car is running 11:8's right out of the gate. That's pretty darn impressive. As is, it will hit LOW 11's with nothing more than a set of DR's...

Yeah, he said that those times wouldn't be released. Its only the first day out, and this car looks to be very serious.
