dunno, you tell me: if YOU and your buddies were getting shot at, would you stop to think about trying to take the buggers alive? I know I wouldn't, and SEALs aren't exactly trained to play nice... As for this possibly being faked - doubt it. If definitive proof got out that Osama was indeed still alive, it would be quite the PR disaster. I could see a lot of people getting fired over that, including the pres.

It's going to be bad enough for our men and women still overseas with is death. Giving him a proper burial might lessen the heartache they're going to go through. Think about them as well as the victims.

If they did string him up, that would make us no better than the terrorists. We are civilized, they are not. But I'm sure they wanted to bring him in alive but certain circumstances prevented that from happening.

The images, being described as 'graphic', are bound to stir emotions in the east and the west, and will likely become the most viewed photographs in modern history.

One image shows a bullet wound to his head above his left eye.

Will it remove all doubt about the death?

Since its on video, they should show the pic in context, show him hiding behind a woman for cover and then taking a shot in the head.
