................................my dad has a 2010 corolla, but he got it practically free last year, they were basically giving it to him, this was before all the recalls btw

Last year there wasn't much of a choice in the compact segment, they all sucked. This year we have the Cruze, and next year we'll have the Focus. Toyota's reverting back to what GM was in the 90s.
