Ruby is great. Obsessed with cars, so waiting for a good car show to take her to. She sits on my lap and drives around. Vroom vroom daddy, lets go fast. If she could reach the clutch, she'd start the car.

awww that is so sweet. I wish Ary like cars, we don't take her to any events because we know 5 minutes in she will be all "this is taking forveerrrrrrr"

Sounds nice. When I go on my honeymoon I want to make sure I don't have access to my cell phone.

Ary will come around, if she's into it.

Yeah, no cell phones on honeymoons!! I'm so sick of mine just in everyday life.

What's new with you!?

She likes horseback riding and her mom bought her a horse a few months ago. A horse is better for a 4 year old girl than a car, IMO. If she is interested in cars we will teach her but I think she rather dress in princess growns than care about a car.

She does know what a Camaro is and we let her name the Sonic. She named it after a My Little Pony.

Nothing really new with me. Just same old same old. Two weeks ago Mike came to visit and we put headers on Jewel and boy does she sound mean. Then last week we went to a car show in NC with Tessa. That is our excitement around here.

We lost power a few hours ago and I was the only one in the office at that time. I sat here in the dark for about 15 minutes.

My parent's beach place in Ensenada didn't used to have TV, but now they have a dish. Back in the day you only had beach, books, booze, and friends to keep yourself entertained. I think I liked it better that way

They're turning it into their retirement place, so I can understand the need for modern comfort.

That does sound wonderful. I remember being a kid and playing outside all day in the summer. Never watched tv.

...not my kid, but I question why anyone would buy a four year old a thousand pound animal.

And we both agree.

Edit: Well I am pretty sure Jason agrees. He sells his camaro and she buys a horse. Then bitches about me owning an expensive car.

being in such a beautiful place and sitting in front of tv or computer is just insane! My little town has some of the best trails (mtn bike, hike, dirt bike) in the west. Just EPIC place to be. Old gold mining town that has been off the map until about 10 years ago when the mtn bikers found it. Now it's "the spot" to ride.

Check out "downieville downhill" on YouTube.

It's 17 miles, from 7k feet to 2800feet back to town. The pros do it in 28 minutes!!!! I do it in about 2.25 hours lol

My girl loves dresses and shoes already, but loves cars!!

Neighbors car

Seriously, I freaking love horses and would love to own one but the vast majority of horses are money pits. They're prone to illness and injury and unless you race them they aren't going to bring in any income.

You were an FFA guy, you should know it's cheaper than buying individual cuts at the grocery store
