I just love how the LS/LT models have the usual things GM does on lower trim models (no chrome side moldings, black mirrors on LS, no LED DRLs, etc) but they still look amazing.

I'm especially impressed that GM actually put chrome accents where the LEDs would go on LS/LT models. The old GM would've just put the black plastic blank in and called it a day.

With the exception of the Camaro refresh, I'm very happy with the things I've seen. The Silverado looks great and so does the Impala.

I'm still confused why a new Colorado has not come about yet. I know it was in the talks. Rumor was that they were even going to bring back a Trailblazer.

Oh lord. Lots of chatter about the midsize truck program actually.

The Wentzville facility is expanding to accommodate midsize truck production as we speak. Midsize IVERs are running around all over Michigan. Mark Reuss gave some details a week or so ago, saying they wouldn't share powertrains with the full sizes, and the Chevrolet would be marketed as more of a lifestyle truck and the GMC as a light duty work truck. The reason it hasn't been released yet is GM doesn't want to steal thunder from the K2XX full sizes.

Now the reason I keep referring to it as the midsize truck is that the Colorado/Canyon nameplates may be dead and buried. That's another thing Reuss dropped the other week. It's not set in stone yet but they're considering new names.

I mean, if you look at a sonic, it looks like a projector style headlight. would have only made sense to make them with projectors/HID's. :(

Oh, and TrailBlazer probably is never making it to the US, unfortunately.

They were probably considering price points. But considering the success of RS on Camaro, if it were up to me it'd be a no brainer. Easy way to tack on an extra couple hundred dollars to every car you sell.

$200?! Where you risk ruining a set of lights. That's not cool..

I like the Colorado/Canyon name. They stuck well and were well viewed since the trucks were VERY dependable. I love my Colorado.

Even the S-10/Sonoma name was good. Hopefully they look good. The Colorado had a great look which performed. Keep us posted, I'm going to be in the market soon.

It'll be between a Wrangler Unlimited or a 4 door midsize truck.

GM is The extra money wouldn't have been "worth it"

But, you could get away with HID bulb kits where you don't have the rings. Just please, please, please angle them correct. I hate the kids around here that have them in and blind the hell out of me because they don't know how to readjust lights. (I know you have more common sense than most)

yeah, they could have left them off the LS, like the Camaro, and had the option of the halo's/HID's on the LT's.

yeah, i'd probably have a shop do the install and baking the headlight housings. lol

I remember in my ricer days, I bought JDM headlight housings and they are angled to illuminate the opposite side of the road. no matter how low I put my beams, I got flashed. lol
