Aaron Rodgers is a cheater to sweet hope the rest the league turns on him like the patriots we will take him as Brady's replacement. Trade Jimmy Garoppolo for a pick to replace the one that will be lost from inflateagate. WIN WIN

Haters? LMAO...I think this is about having integrity.

Apparently, Patriots fans have no integrity left, and like their coach to cheat.

Keep making excuses and trying to justify what Bellicheat did. He dun f'd up bad here, and you seem to think your team did the right thing.

Patriots integrity should RIP.

The problem is there is a culture of pushing the rules or cheating in that organization. I still say the Pats clearly won that game.

This is absolutely a prime example of why I and so many other people hate that team...

Totally agree. I mean, this had very little to do with the outcome of last weeks game. Problem is, we have no idea how long they have been doing this. 1 week? 2 weeks? 5 weeks? All the games this season at home?? All the games this season home and away? Last 2 years?? Last 5 years? Since BB has been coach? We don't know, and this puts doubt on ALL of the accomplishments of the Patriots over the time Brady & BB have been a part of that organization.

Do we put an * over these accomplishments? There were lots of closer games over that time that would have been affected by cheating like this. Suddenly, those accomplishments look mighty suspicious. At least 3 games this year were close enough that something like this could have affected the outcome (both Jets games, for example). That changes the outcome of the Patriots even BEING in the playoffs.

I've said that since "Spygate" those three SB wins should all have an asterisk next to them. They haven't won since then and if they manage to pull it off this time it will be in doubt.

I don't think for a second that they are the only ones cheating but you gotta figure either they are worse at it (which I doubt) or they do so much that they get caught more often.

Either way it looks bad...

two nights ago on fox sports 1 Donovan McNabb said 'we mess with balls all week long.'
i suspect there's lots of stuff like this that goes on in all sports. It's just one team seems to be in the middle of it repeatedly.
i just want to know how high this went. If it was intentional it was either the dumbest person or the most reckless.

I don't really care about the integrity of a game that is more WWE then a true sport anymore. It is TV entertainment. I don't care if its CGI or tom cruise doing his own stunts in movies either. I just don't take it that serious I like my local team but I don't care about them as human beings and I don't care about their opinions on politics or what the best watch is or what clothes they say to wear. I used to love the game of football now I enjoy the TV show that the NFL puts on. When they started to pervert the rules to change how the game is played and what type of game they wanted to see so TV ratings would go up I lost interest in the Integrity of it all. I don't care if my reality tv is 100 percent real I actually figure its some where from 10%-90% real with the rest under the "creative License" label to make it more exciting to watch.

Just looking at the first three years of Belichick's career with the Patriots...let's say that dumping air out of the ball accounted for 7 points per game advantage...They wouldn't have even made the 2001 and 2002 playoff appearances due to 8-7-1 record in 2001. I didn't even run the full numbers for 2001 since at least 4 games were close enough to be effected, and the divisional race was so close that they would have been at the bottom of the division that year.

Yep...it's ASTERISK time.

edit: It's early and for some reason I was getting the back to back years for the patriots mixed up in my memory. If you look at 2003 though, 6 games would have been affected. I'll do the full research on this later and post data on what their prospective record would have been. Looks like at least 2 Super Bowls at this point are now * games that might not have happened if not for them deflating balls to gain an advantage.

Classy, Patriots!!

You've made my point. Your coach has turned your area into people who think cheating is ok because it's the only way you can now justify your Lombardi's...

That's a good point to bring up. PED's have been a problem in ALL sports for years. Wasn't even tested or illegal for a long time. The biggest point when bringing up PED's and HGH is...every team has this problem. I'd need to research this...I believe every team has had players suspended due to PED's...or at least the bulk of them. Some athletes & teams are going to find a way to skirt the rules. Some teams, however, seem to get caught far more often, though.

Either the Patriots just suck at hiding their cheating, or they are doing it far more, thus getting caught more.
