Get them while you can ... The 2015 is rather sweet, comes stock with MRC and manual as an option with 3:70 rear gear.

That's why I want one for those features alone. Also, the rear brakes are brembos now too.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

I was blessed/cursed with the opportunity to drive a '14 a few months ago. As if I didn't desire one based on looks alone in the first place, that drive didn't help matters. Wound up ordering a '15 1SS instead. Not a bad trade-off, but I'd still prefer an SS if finances had allowed.

Rear Brembo brakes would be mostly for appearance, however. I don't think you could measure the difference from the rear brake change. Don't get me wrong, I'd like a matched set on mine......................but for performance not really an issue.

I wouldn't have bought a manual transmission so the big change would be the MR shocks. That I'd like to have.

If I had the cash and could afford to fuel it as a DD I'd be very tempted to get a SS. The sub 20mpg mixed will be expensive when gas prices return to reality. I assume the 2015 still gets the guzzler tax?

I have yet to see one of these in my neck of the woods, and that makes them all the more awesome.

This guy does pretty good car reviews, and if nothing else, skip to 8:12 to see his reaction to putting the screws to the SS for the first time:

Haven't seen one on the road either. Very tempted to get a used one but that mpg is a factor.

I'm with you..in fact my ss is as fun as my 1LE AND in stock form it was a little faster to ...for a sedan it handles insane ..I love how it Rev matches every gear on the down shift .this car never ceases to amaze me and it make some of the best engine and exhaust noise I ever heard on a stock car ever ..I have hurt a lot of egos with this car already ...no regrets in getting it ...I even considered ordering a 6 spd manual and putting cam and long tubes package on it with an ecs 1500 supercharger ....my girl said why have 2 of the same cars so I decided to keep the 1LE...anyway the Chevy SS has been awesome and at least 2 times a week I get people asking what is that ...or is that a v6 or v8 ..it gets a lot of attention much more than my camaro ....
