When I was at Sears they were total time clock Nazis. If you were late 6 minutes 8 times throughout the year you got fired. 6 minutes always seemed like a small buffer to me, probably should have been 15 at least. The nice thing about all the travel is being able to come and go as a please so long as I work at least 45 hours. Drive time counts towards that total.

Yes well when you go to bed nightly between 9 PM and 10 PM, getting up at 4 to 4:30 AM becomes the norm. I'm just on east coast time that's all.

Yeah helps when you have an almost non-existent social life outside of car clubs on the weekend, that tends to happen it would seem around 30. Besides that over the top exercise schedule isn't going to keep itself, better to do it when the sun ain't out and its cool here. Prior to taking this current job I used to do the 10 miles running and hit the gym each day, now its only 4 times a week.
