This year they had dig races on an abandoned airstrip. It was totally insane. They had to lock the gates because too many cars showed up.

That guy Stangkiller who did the video ended up wrecking his truck and his Camaro in a big accident that wasn't associated w/ racing. Really sucked for him this year. And since the main days rained out we have rain dates and get to do it all over again.

Witnessed what?

While I have never street raced, I have been in a ZR1 doing WAY beyond the speed limit on a road. That was crazy and scary at the same time, as the only way I could describe it was like Star Wars when they go into lightspeed.

I haven't been to TX2K, but we had some ignorant shit going on while I was in NY last night. Surprised no one wrecked, died, or got arrested. Had cars like this one below hitting 170 on the LIE. It's a Z06 with 20k into it that apparently made 723 on the dyno N/A. The thing spins 1-3 on drag radials. Most insane car I've ever seen.

Had some woodfire pizza, something called a tornado potato, some crab roll (which was just crab meat in a hoagie, and some white castle. lol Might go back tonight to try some other stuff. Dole was there, had this awesome pineapple float thing that I wanted to try, but it got too damn windy and cold.

also, wouldn't be surprised if the next fest was in Kentucky. Not sure where it could be, on the west coast. I think cali is just too far from everyone, but Californians. lol Vegas is too expensive, and Phoenix doesn't have a track anymore.

the track president didn't renew the lease. the land belongs to an indian community. although, it seems they reopened under new management and a new name. Wild Horse Motorsports Park. used to be firebird raceway.

Huh I had no idea. If it ends up on the east coast again, then Z-Max speed way in North Carolina would be awesome. But I bet they are pretty expensive to rent out
