well i'll be dipped in shit. here i thought this car was supposed to run 9's at 150mph on 87 octane.

here's my thinking coming from the other side of this. If i am buying this car solely because i think its king, im gonna be disappointed soon enough. both companies have the basic platform out. they will add bolt-ons we are, to add power for advertising and selling points.
so chevy puts the new 5.5 - 6.5 liter DI newgen SB and i'm back where i was. and i am dissatisfied with my car. then ford puts bigger cams and DI to the stang and a supercharger. ford back on top. etc etc etc etc. like others have said, but your car for your style and fun, not to be king. i feel like some have bought their SS thinking there would NEVER be a response to it and dodge and ford would just let them have the market. i just dont think there is a clear mod for mod winner here. its the same for the next chasis. if ford loses 300 lbs and chevy does, it's back where it is now. all three cars have great appeal. all threee are a dream for us. You chevy guys have to understand a lot of ford boys have taken a back seat since the LT-1 and are looking for revenge. the 2011 GT gives them that. i am buying the 2011 gt for me. not to beat everyone. someone is always faster. i am looking forward to the odd SS driver who thinks he cant lose.
