boss is a 60 year old man so the city is in debt up past its head and are looking to cut expenses and being maintenance worker... well its not looking so good. we were supposed to be painting crosswalks today and there was two of us working. so the guy im workin with starts sprayin paint on me right as 2 councilmen drive by they called our boss and he chewed us out for jacking around... dumb thing was, the guy i was working with didnt have any paint on him. i didnt do anything wrong but got told that if we need to go home and if we need a babysitter at all times, then he dont need us to work...i didnt do shit. i was bent over painting while he painted a streak down my arm. and second of all, i dont need your pity. i get payed minimum wage to work manual labor 6 hours a day, most weeks 7 days a week. this is crap because ive worked for them for 3 years and every year, we are to get a .50 cent increase. only thing is, i make just as much now as when i started because the mayor and councilmen have run the city into the ground. and, one paint can costs 4.95$ i should know, im the one who bought the paint with MY money and am waiting for them to pay me back. not mad at you, just saying, you wanna act like i dont know what im talking about, you better get the facts straight.

You reminded me though. My 12 YO daughter, last week decided to get some house paint and her and her freind step in the paint and walk around on our street.

Last week I get home to find that she decided it would be a good idea to wrap herself in plastic wrap and duct tape and jump in the pool.

Because being that the sky is a sub 3000 lb car, it doesn't need 400+ horsepower... 300 would be more than adequate - in fact, the 260 from the redline would be adequate for what I want. If I could get it to match up with the tranny, I'd throw a fuel-injection kit on one of these and drop it in there instead of an LS1.

Just drove back from Savanah in the worst rain storm you can imagine. Comforting thing was how well 296 did in the rain. Oceans of standing water on the roads and not even a wiggle. Love those Pirelli tires. Lots of good comments on the car and a nice walking tour of the town. Posting some pics shortly in the trip thread.
