I could barley tell the car was on when I was driving it. Those damn Priuses (or however you spell the plural version of Prius) sneak up on you like a Ninja

Well I mean regardless I'll love the car, I think if I get a DD that is a manual it will be enough to satisfy me again.

While I wouldn't own a Prius, if they made an electric car that actually looked nice, I would consider it for a DD. Like why in the hell do they have make all the efficient cars look so wired and ugly.

Your keyword in that sentence was Think. Personally I know I would never be truly happy with an A6 ZL1. Ultimately it's your decision and your money. You are the one that will pay for it at the end of the day and if it will make you happy then go for it!

If you think you would rather have a manual than an auto, get a manual. For spending that much money you deserve to get exactly what you want!

I'll echo what others are saying here about the ZL1. I would love it as well but give it about two to three months and I'd be wishing I got a stick. I was about to pull the trigger on G8GT's before the Camaro but ultimately I (after everyone reminded me countless times) realized that the only way I'd be fully satisfied was with a manual car. Plus it has go faster stripes!

Lol get a manual one! Don't rely on the DD (unless its a manual ZL1 as the DD) to make you happy. Spend the $50k on the exact car you want. You'll be happier in the end.

Now if I had found a G8 GXP with the M6....

My DD is going to most likely be an Audi S8 or S6 or something very similar so it will have plenty of go fast with the manual, currently I'm trying to get that dealership down to 48,000$ for the car.

You can get a used R8 for $70k-ish. I'd rather have that as a DD lol

Could have been the showroom car. My friend got his SS there in 2010 for really cheap because it sat on the showroom floor for months so people could see what the car looked because they didn't have any on the lot in 2009.

Even though it wasn't used for test driving I am sure it took a beating.

We added a tow hitch to a Prius here and he pulls a decent sized trailer with it all the time. Only problem was hooking up the wiring to it because the lights are different.

Solid price for it brand new. There are CPO'S around here going for 5k more than that.
