Wow, had a great time. It is so damn nice and spot on accurate as you said. Wow...

The guy in the lane next to me had a laser on his weapon. He wasn't shooting very accurate with it, but it still looked cool. Everytime I was aiming down range, that dot would pop up out of the corner of my eye and make me want to shoot it. Now I know how a cat being tormented with the red dot felt.

Well i see lot on here about new guns. I am alittle old school. We own 2 M1 carbines, a post war garand (was never fired when we got it, it has been now) a 1903a4 (real not a replica) a couple of mausers, 22 training rifles. For pistols we own a 1911, p.38, p.08 and a bunch of other revolvers. Ive been thinking about getting an AR-15 but now sure. I will post pictures soon.

Just curious what kind of 22 training rifles do you have? I read on rimfire central all the time and have been looking to pickup an older training rifle. I've got a Romanian AKT-98 which is an AK-47 receiver dedicated to 22 rimfire and I've also looked at the Romanian M-69 but would rather have an old American made like a Winchester, Savage, Mossberg. There really aren't many old 22 training rifles to be found where I live. I've got 6 AR-15's, 2 in 5.56, 3 in 22 LR and my new 6.5 Grendel. I also have a 1911 and used to own an M-1 carbine. I've always wanted an M-1 Garand and a 1903-a3 but really never had the extra cash or when I did I wanted something else worse. As you can see I got addicted to AR-15's. I'd like to see pictures of your training rifles if you have any. Stay safe sounds like you have a great collection.

Thanks! next time i pull them out ill grab some pics. Personally me being 15, i own 2 rifles and the rest are my dads but we share lol. I have a 8mm mauser that i just got redone and my old mossberg 44b. Alot of ours are mossbergs. I will get them out and get exact models but i love my 44. It is good if you want a very accurate 22 and also can fit scopes really good. You can look on google for pics until i pull them out.

I know what a Mossberg model 44 training rifle is and they are very neat guns and inexpensive to shoot. I just like the older wooden stock rifles of the WW II period.

Just picked up a New Mossberg .270 and put a Nikon ProStaff scope with the BDC on it. Anyone used either of these before?

nope... but I'd like to hear about it. I've been a big mossberg fan for years, put thousands of rounds through my 500 without any issues (other than missing the targets) . I remember hearing some bad things about the rifles when they first came out, so I held off on them.

I used one of those scopes last year on a friend's .30-30. Its amazing the difference it makes. It was really clear and didn't fog up like some of my other's do. Its hard to beat Nikon optics.
