Yeah the Pats went 18 and 1 it was like '08. The Giants (who I love for this) beat them in the Super Bowl for that "1"...

I could also say that if Marino played today he would throw 8000 or more yards a year and would have a fist full of rings. If anything the game has gotten more friendly for the offense and QB's...

Dude, it hurt because they lost the Superbowl what team isn't hurt by missing a goal. But the Patriot's are always in the hunt and this organization every year focuses on the same goal. All the big teams prep to win Superbowls - Dallas, Green Bay, San Fran(not this generation as much) Pittsburgh. These are teams that have dominated Superbowl Victories over the years and are most mentioned when it comes to who will end up in the upcoming SuperBowl. New England has been part of that conversation for the last 10 years. That says a lot about an organization. Yes, when Brady and Belicheck are gone, that will be the end of that legacy. Just like when Shula was no longer a part of the Dolphin organization, that legacy is over. That organization has struggled ever since.

And you can't use that old woulda, coulda, shoulda excuse when it comes to players playing in a different era. They played in their time and accomplished what they did in that era.

Bring on the Seahawks, Now the real teams are playing.

Thing is the 15 -20 years prior to Shula and Marino retiring and us entering our purgatory phase we were on that list of contenders.

The reason I and other Dolphans get salty is because Pat fans act like it never happened.

If we got a little respect and a tip of the hat we might hate all the Pats fans a little less.

I wonder if alot of it is because many of the fans are young?

I have a long standing animosity towards my division rivals so I couldn't stand any of those teams way before the Pats were good.

Well...time to start looking for Super Bowl tickets!!!

I'll be driving from Seattle to Parumph, NV for my Ron Fellows performance driving school on the 26th through 28th (planned 6 months ago), then heading to Arizona to watch my second Super Bowl in 2 years.

Life is good...

They should check Mike McCarthy after that 4th quarter his balls seemed deflated.

Quote from the article:

"However, the margin of victory and the fact that the Colts used the same game balls make it unlikely the cheating, if it occurred, had much of an impact on the game’s outcome. If the allegation is proven, the NFL could take away draft picks from the Partriots"

If it's proven that they did so this, maybe the score differential could be because the Patriots were practicing with deflated balls, and Luck was unable to adjust to the difference.

Simply put...I wouldn't put much stock in this if it was anyone but the Patriots. Because of BB's history with cheating in the past...not going to help here, of course.
