Thing is the 15 -20 years prior to Shula and Marino retiring and us entering our purgatory phase we were on that list of contenders.
The reason I and other Dolphans get salty is because Pat fans act like it never happened. If we got a little respect and a tip of the hat we might hate all the Pats fans a little less. I wonder if alot of it is because many of the fans are young? I have a long standing animosity towards my division rivals so I couldn't stand any of those teams way before the Pats were good. Well...time to start looking for Super Bowl tickets!!!
I'll be driving from Seattle to Parumph, NV for my Ron Fellows performance driving school on the 26th through 28th (planned 6 months ago), then heading to Arizona to watch my second Super Bowl in 2 years. Life is good...
