Boy does he. Against a good fast defense they can stack the box and force him to make those throws. Just like the commentator said on the BTN during the game, it looks as if he's trying to guide or aim the ball too much instead of just making the throws. I think he'll come around though.

I stopped keeping track of all the over thrown passes!

Its amazing how different they looked in the second half. The offense actually stayed on the field for a while and let the defense breath for a change!

Ha...just noticed I left out the state...eek! It was way past my bedtime, and I stayed up longer to watch some of the FSU and OU game...OUCH! What a headbutter! I had to dvr the rest but saw the score this morning...kudos to OU...though FSU hurt themselves more with penalties. Might have been the other way if penalties didn't interfer with all the good plays...but FSU QB needs some overhaulin'...OU does have a good QB. So I gotta give them some snaps even though I don't want to admit it.

FSU beat themselves more than OU...but gotta give it to OU even though they won by much less than I get speeding tickets over the posted speed limits!

Lastnight we all can sit and say WOULD OF , COULD OF and SHOULD OF on certain plays of the OU/FLA ST game however When it came down it to OU's Defense Showed up and took over when called.

As I said to a Few of my friends This years OU/Fla St Win was like UT's Win over Ohio St at the shoe back in 05. BIG

Unless something happens I see OU winning out and going to a NC Game the big question is.......

I know a lot of you are like wow a TEXAS Fan saying OU will win out. Isnt it expected? This is a OU team with lot of expierence of 2+ years under there belt with the # of 5star athletes and recruits they should be where they are. Texas is a young Team that imo give them a year/two the most and they will be back 100% to themselves QUOTE ME.

I wish the few who got injuried in Fla St's game lastnight could have come back I dont like see anyone play a game against someone with there best injuried pllayers on the sideline it just gives excuses for the loser after losing.


Oh and to the OU Fans you better tell #30 to pull his head out of his A$$ the first GREAT WR or better yet Blackmon/Fuller/Shipley are going to have a ball with that guy if you dont start playing better.

After adding Beenie Wylie strength and conditioning coach TEXAS Looks very energized from 1 to 4 QTRS which right now they look way more in shape than there oponents so we will see.

I cant wait to watch OU/OKieSt and OU/a&m i think the a&m game will be an A$$kicking and the OKie st game will be some what close.

During the game last night, my son was freaking out of course, and when OU had given up the big TD pass and then got pinned deep in their end zone and momentum was agaisnt them and the crowd was on them I told my son that this is where we find out what OU is all about. I was absolutely pleased. They seized control in that environment against a good team.

But what I was most impressed with is I remember telling him on FSUs final possesion that a good defense 'finishes' and knows how to close out a game. Again I was very pleased.

The UT game is not a gimme be any means. Neither is A&M, Okie St. or Missou. BUT, I hope for a few more OU bounces.

I felt the opposite. When Manuel came back out I was hoping he'd go back in the game. That little Gumby looking kid is just a better QB. OUs defense did just fine. The sooners beat a good team in a hostile environment on the road WITH DEFENSE. I'm feeling pretty good right now. Been a while since OU had some good D.

And as far as LSU, they wouldn't shut OU down any more than OU would do the same to their offense. You see, both teams have an offense and a defense. And they kinda, take turns so to speak. And they play a defferent team each week.

PQ, OU played a great game, they did what they needed to do to win! I think OU will run the Big12, but....when they meet a better DEFENSE than what they saw from FSU, and an OFFENSE hitting on all 11 cylinders (LSU) in New Orleans.....OU in my opinion will go down. It's not an OU thing, I would say the same thing about anyother team!!

I am woozy......UT is 3-0 with a team full of top notch Freshmen....future looks great!!!! LSU's defense makes FSU's look like high school kids....8 out of 11 LSU's defensive starters will go in the first round next draft. OU had a hard time with FSU defense.......watch out, OU may just get what they want.

Ummm....I'd say that is a pretty appropriate score for a #1 ranked team playing a #5 ranked team..........and yeah, that scrawny QB from FSU did pretty good for a 2nd stringer......scored the only TD for FSU with him........

That's fair but it's a long season. And OU has some weird offensive questions like why is Stills just now coming into the equation hard and why are they not using Finch. But FSU may be better then we think too.
