Ford ruined what was once a beautiful car. Seriously, has anyone seen the tail lights? the disgust me. And the headlights, they tried too hard to incorperate the Maro's inside turn signals. they look digusting. The damn GLASS ROOF. WTF. you mean to tell me that T-Tops aren't "crash test safe" enough, but a bloody glass roof is! wow ford in moments like this I just want to tell who ever came up with your design for the new stang, needs to come out to L.A. climb all the way up the citi bank building......and just jump. BTW hope shelby and saleen figure a way to make it presentable to the public.

No, I don't think that the Camaro needs a touch screen, but if they offered it and/or the hard drive/mp3 player with Nav that my G35S (and the CTS, I believe) has, I'd totally get it. Having 9.5 GB of music at my fingertips in my car is pretty awesome, I must say.

For whatever it's worth, though, I'll probably be trading my G in for the Camaro in about a year, regardless of any lack of luxury. Can't wait for that day.

The 2010 Mustang looks pretty nice. I may even consider buying it... OH GOD! WHAT AM I SAYING?! The 2010 Mustang is good looking, but I'd rather go with a Rally Yellow LT/RS

It's a nice interior, I like it. It's not WOW though. I'm not a big touchscreen nav fan myself. If I needed nav, I'd prefer a separate screen personally. I like Cadillac's and Mazda's that raises out of dash when you needed and stays unobtrusive when you don't.

Do some research about this 5spd vs 6 spd debate and you'll see. I'm not making this shit up.
Here watch this. Z06 hitting 190 in 5th gear at just over 6000rpm and the ZR1 hitting 200 mph in 6th gear at 6000 rpm. With the gearing in a V6 Camaro theoretical top end at redline is close to 200 mph. Do you think it'll be able to go that fast? Then why? Fuel economy. Very cool videos by the way.

first of all... most cars are limited by wind drag at high speeds not be gearing...
and secondly.... ive seen proper set up 3 speeds beat 5 speeds of the same car and engine... also ive seen 5 speeds set up properly beat a good 3 speed setup... its all about the length of the race and the ratios...
however... for top speed.... if NOT drag limited... more gears = higher speed = less gas at same speed

you see what im saying?

and also for your theory... imagine 2 f1 cars side by side...ANY RACE... drag curcuit, drift for all i care... give one a 5 speed and one a 6 speed ... while keeping the same max speed... and the 6 will win because higher torque capacity same rev range more gears...

Ford has offered ambient lighting in the Mustang since 2007, so if you're inferring that the option is a rip off from the Camaro, you need to check yourself.

They're not exactly gas-savers and yet they all have six speed transmissions.

I think if the Camaro was coming out with a five speed and the new GT had a six speed you'd be all over us for it.

They are stronger. Whether or not they help performance is dependent on the gear ratios. I don't think you will find very many, if any, production cars making 400hp sporting a 5-speed tranny. There is also the issue of cost which is a mjor consideration when you are dealing with a car that is going to be produced in large volumes.
