We Need another Meet/Cruise in Edmonton this summer - Page 3 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm looking at organizing a group to CF2 out of Alberta, just making sure I can get the time off first and planning a route that would potentially meet up with the BC guys/gals.

I will post a possible cruise for October 24th or the 31st to see who is interested, weather permitting of course.

Sorry to bump this not terribly so old old thread but damn the car isnt here yet and it's been 7 weeks! Dealer said it is in transit and well.... i never had a kid but i swear this gota feel a wee bit similar i bet. That waiting game!

I guess it aint so bad since the winter rims i ordered arent even here yet, stuck in Winnipeg i gather. So in a small way it's good because the car will get there hopefully at the same time as the rims do!

As an aside, still unsure about putting tint on it since it's not legal, but moreso because i read they use water to make the tint instal easier and i wonder how's that gona do considering the freezing temperature?

good luck hopefully you get your car soon!!

as for tint they should be well dry before it leaves the shop and it shouldn't be aproblem. but call around and ask about that. i know for sure you can't roll down your windows for a while (few days) after tint so no drive-through or anything like that. anyway good luck getting your car and enjoy the driving!!

of if you are like some of us and park it then you will miss it terribly hahahaha

Hey 7 weeks ain't so bad we waited 10mos. for BB to show LOL . It will be worth the wait, we get to wait till spring for more fun HA HA HA , be safe eh ... :-)

Tints should be fine. I was worried about the window indexing in the winter, with the freezing, but it has worked out fine. This is my 2nd winter with the car and I have no problems to report! I have tint on all 5 windows and no problems there

I will set-up a cruise post for June 11, 2011, in the new year. This will co-incide with our last cruise and make this an annual event.
