Losing a part of being in the stock market, as long as you have a good portfolio you should be okay. Unless the economy gets even worse, then we are all in trouble.

I've already bought and sold more GM stock than I can count at this point. I buy every time it dips into the $4.00's and get out once it reaches $6.00+. It's a lot of work and I've had to take a bunch of money out of my bank account because my on-line account takes 2 days to clear money earned, but I've made a lot off GM in recent times.

It is abundantly apparent that I posted this thread too soon.

On the other hand, if all of us invest a little, we could provide GM with some market support. Basically, we could all buy a bunch of stock to show our support for GM. Who wants to show their GM loyalty with a few shares?

That's the key here... anyone who plays the market short-term at some point loses their ass. I have had the majority of my stocks for just over 20 years, everything I am losing now, wasn't there 10 years ago, and it will most likely all be back 10 years from now.
