The wimpy Giants got swept by the green and gold at the Coliseum.

Was a wonderful site, Giants scored 1 run in the 3 game set.

What's with the officiating this season? Ump getting reprimanded for ejecting Roy O...another making a public apology for blowing a call that cost a guy a PERFECT F'N GAME!!!

Sorry, but an apology would not cut it for me!

So Oswalt is going to the Phillies rotation...think it makes a difference? Think he puts them in a better position to not only return to the WS, but win this time?

IDK.

But my Astros got two 19 yo prospects who may never see the bigs, and J.A. Happ...so tell me, is Ed Wade still on the Phillies payroll or what? Jeez, for that matter you could just call the Astros the "Phillie south" club...Bourn, Keppinger, Feliz, Myers, Happ...

How about them San Diego Padres, Sports Illustrated picked them last in our division in April. Second lowest payroll in the major's. I jumped off the bandwagon last year, but this young guy's are hungry and very scrappy. What do these expert know!!!!!.

So the Divisional series are underway...

No hitter by Doc...awesome...

Lincecum with 14Ks and 31 wiffs...awesome

Great pitching...wait, this is the NL right?

Yanks on cruise control...Rangers can handle them in the ALCS though!

Phils vs Giants could be interesting but I think the Phils are going back to the WS...

Both Championship Series have been excellent thusfar. Especially SF vs Philly, man what a great rotation vs rotation these two have! Just goes to prove starting pitching is what wins championships...

Go Rangers!

I am not normally a NL fan, but I am loving this NLCS as I am just a fan of great pitching. Game 1 was a matchup I was looking forward to quite a bit, just as if the Rangers get to the WS, I look forward to either a Lee/Halladay or a Lee/Lincecum matchup.

No doubt...especially as they get to the back of the rotation or start leaning too heavy on the bullpen. One more win and it's the comeback story of the year...from Bankruptcy court to the WS!

Cain vs Hamels was another great matchup yesterday...I really am shocked at how strong the Giants are...Cody Ross was on one of my homerun pools, but dang is he on fire against the Phils or what!

I am a big fan of Cliff Lee. He has been strongly supporting our local Miracle League for several years. He and some other MLB stars come play ball with special needs kids. These are very small events not open to the public. Just the kids, parents and the stars. Cliff (and his extended family) have shown up for several of our special events and he is allways a gentleman.

That said, I am getting tired of buying a new hat every season! -LOL!

Go Rangers!

-Mark.

Cliff Lee is mortal after all....

And Ron "Cocaine" Washington better not put Vlad "I run like Frankenstein's monster" Guerrero back in the outfield...geez, that was torture to watch...his bat ain't that hot that he needs to bumble around in the outfield like he did.
