my 97 is one of about 2600 of this color made for the year. I've only seen one other of the color in 13 years. It also has the Y87 Performance handling package (only 6,918 made) and the 16" cast aluminum 5 spoke wheels that were optional and the roof/mirror blackout sections. Lol, and it came with power everything and a CD player... which were all options then. (which I'm glad its got the factory CD player).

Considering they only made around a thousand or so Forumlas each year and less than half were WS6's I'd say youre right.

according to my spreadsheet the car is 1 of 30 A4 WS6 Formula hardtops in 2000, this includes all colors, I cant break it down any further but I do know only 8 were made in silver (hardtop and ttops)

i don't think you can compare a Calloway or LPE car to something like was named in the OP... however i owned a 1 of 248, 94 Vintage Red Touring rx7s...

I was watching the video of a LF-A and it is known as a "rare" car. So, going though some cool stats and neat fact.

LFA - 340
SLR - 1151
Bugatti Veryon - 300
Ferrari Enzos - 399
SSC Ultimate Aero - 25
Lamborghini Reventions - 20
LPE CES - 10

Now my car,
Lingenfelter CES body 25th Anniversary (you can not buy the rear that I have without the getting the whole car) I have very good connections...
Limited to 25 cars but only 1o were ever made!! I do not have the entire kit but do have the authentic body panels.

Info on the LPE CES 25th

http://www.lingenfelter.com/engine-p...edition-corvet

So, the chance of seeing another car like mine is less likely than every car on that list above. I love having unique items but no it means more to me than ever...
To me the only worth you have there is if someone that has the real car crashes and needs your body panels. My thoughts are that someone doesn't buy a lingenfelter for body panels. They buy them for high end performance. You don't have the most important part of the kit which is the performance.

That's pretty rare considering how many Monte Carlo's, Regal's, Cutlass', Grand Prix', El Camino's, Malibu's, Bonneville's, etc. were made from 1978 to 1988. (G-Body).
Yeah, but those things were but ugly.....

I knew a guy that had one....on top of it being an ugly car, his was silver from the top down to the middle of the door and black the rest of the way down with an orange and red stripe between them, all the way around the car....on the plus side though, it had t-tops....

As for the rare cars....find a Grand National that hasn't been beat to hell and you have found a rare car.
