C50 and Warrior are both good bikes. If they have been moded look them over if done wrong can spell trouble like stated before. The other big investment is good leathers and helmet. A good set of leathers with vents are a must in summer.. Don't get sticker shock on good gear it can last you a long time if cared for and save your "A" if needed. Plus the nice stuff also fit well and are more likely to use it. JMO, but I cringe ever time I see a rider with street close and a helmet. Not that the rider is not skilled, but you share the road w/ 3k plus lbs car that have piss poor drivers in them and "S" happens.

Those are all good bikes man, good luck. I don't know how big you are, but another good bike to learn on that's kind of unique is a Triumph Bonneville. It's got about the same power as a Japanese 650 but it's a 'standard' which are a little easier to learn on than a cruiser and you won't feel like you have to trade up after 1 summer.

Could be worth looking at. Pics looks good, but hard to say with out a up close personal look.. Been out of the industry for about five yrs, but seems fair. Call local Yam dealer and check the blue book, both retail and trade in values that will help you set the value. Just like cars some machine are more desirable then other and what seems like a smokin deal really happens to be market price on a model. Hope that helps and happy hunting.. As much as I love our cars is just hard to beat the fun of two wheels in the summer..

I know that retail is 7600, and trade in is 5250. The cheapest I can find the same bike is 8200 at the dealerships.

not a bad price save money to get a vance&hines propipe and a power commander for it too it will run and sound sweet.you might want to keep looking for a warrior that has some mods done allready it will save you more money. there are plenty of them out there that are fully modded with low miles. you will end up wanting drag or flatbars with risers , a 240 rear tire kit, better pipes, power commander, yamaha engine performance stage kits.
