Used to play in bars along the Ny/Pa border, tons of "ridge runners", if you get my meaning. One of the patrons and I were joking around, all pretty gentle stuff, both of us laughing. He made a comment (forget what exactly all these years later...) and I didn't laugh because I was hooking up cables for PA system. He then says, "Hey man, I was only kidding." I jokingly replied, "I know, you're still standing aren't you?" (Used to see that to friends all the time.)
His reply? "What do you mean by that???" Then 3 of his friends got up from the table and came towards me. Oh crap.... Turned out well, talked my way out of it and NEVER said that phrase again except to tell this story. For the record, played MANY bars, never caused trouble. Just a fluke this night. NO indications whatsoever that he was that touchy. |

Crashing ur dads car into the garage while he's on vacation, and have no time for repairs cuz he's on a flight which will land in less than 22 hours...O Crap!!! (that happen to me when I was 15
