Best pizza place I've every eaten was a place called Big Al's Pizza Pub located in population 1,000 Mt. Ida Arkansas. Everyone in town loved their cooking for the six weeks they were open. Then the Drug Task Force raided the place, and that was it for Big Al.

Did sort of explain why the pizza was so good, though.

I can dig it. My parents grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Great pizza places on damn near every block. Connecticut has some good mom&pop places too. Diamond Pizza in Wethersfield Ct.

pizza hut has seriously went down hill, or my pizza palate has become more sophisticated.

I prefer local pizza, over national chains, but Dominos and PapaJohns aren't too bad.

The best local pizza around here. I live close by so if you're out my way give a holler and I'll introduce you to pizza heaven.

As far as pizza institutions, we prefer Panago's Pizza. Incredibly good pizza for a pizza chain.

Pizza Hut is great when it comes to stuffed crust, I can't find stuffed crust in any authentic pizzerias.

Exactly my point, at least in NY, there aint nothing better than authentic italian pizza
