I'm sure it's technically possible, however it's morally wrong .

Im would bet the finished product will be alot closer to the Raptor in style and purpose.... IF this even becomes a reality

Looks on par with the Raptor but has a lot more usefulness and praticality. I would get the Chevy, but I think a new Silverado SS with an LSA would be the way to go.

Edit: I just looked at the pics and I like the look of the ZR2 more than the Raptor hands down.

Now I see Ford is basically going to offer the full baja kitted Raptor for $99k (yes it would be worth it the way it's set up). Do we have the beginnings of a new battle?

no, swapping a ford motor into a GM product is morally wrong.

showing the competition what their shells/bodies can do with adequate power is fun.

They say the best truck is a Ford Shell, Cummins Motor, and Allison Transmission.

I can't figure out what the point of this truck is. The suspension is for show, not go. As are the wheels. But then they go overkill on power to weight, which is what Ford largely ignored with the Raptor. It doesn't sound like a Raptor fighter to me. So what is this thing supposed to be used as? A street and strip truck? Maybe but I doubt it.

It makes me throw up a little, but it's probably true.

Thank you. Whether we individually believe that GM should answer the Raptor or not the reality is that what we have here isn't that answer. To be fair GM hasn't had time to develop an answer if they wanted to, even in show trim. This is more like an H3 pickup with a mild lift kit and aftermarket wheels than a Raptor.
