Got a house in Jacksonville. Tenants decided to stay and ride it out. Anything over five feet of storm surge has the chance of flooding the house and they're saying seven to eleven now.

As of a few minutes ago they were doing fine. Next 24 hours will tell a lot.

wow, 11 ft storm surge would cut a new channel across Florida. Hope they are prepared for this destruction.

Eye of Matthew just south of Daytona Beach now. I live in Jacksonville wilds are picking up with light rain. Hoping this monster takes a right turn and heads out to sea!

I hope my insurance company is prepared.

I'm really kicking myself in the ass for letting the rising water portion lapse and not renewing it the last two years.

A bit north of the airport in Yulee. Just off of exit 373 in Timber Creek Plantation.

You should be ok from rising water I'd think. You're not too close to the river or the beach either way right?
