However the body looked cool before the headlight redesign in my opinion as well. I believe with a more exotic body like this new stingray concept, GM would double the sales compared to only selling to die hard enthusiasts. You may knock of 40% of enthusiasts however by doubling or tripling the sales and bringing in a newer, younger crowd. Then it more than makes up for the lost enthusiast crowd who wouldn't like to see drastic change.
I would love to see where you got your 40% number from. And you do know they are 3 different trim levels for the C6 and the ZO6 and two different trim levels for the ZR1. It.s quite easy to search the internet and find plenty of Vette forums, find one that speaks to you

I think what the Quote SHOULD mean "The Corvette keeps the lights on at GM" is that there is a light of hope with the Corvette (and Camaro) in existence that performance is not dead at GM.

With BG shutdowns seemingly every other week and the whole of November, they may be in arrears with the light bills with current Vette sales volume

Only makes sense during the most recent past with the GM restructuring and dealerships closing...production should be slowed down and retooled also...jmo

I've always respected and admired the Vette but never really thought of it as a potential car I may own. That new interior is pretty sick though. The grinning front end though, not so much. I might just hold off on the Z28 idea and go with a Vette if the looks and price are right.

If that interior ever went into a production car, it would be the only thing I like better than the CTS-V. Just sayin'.

The ONLY thing I liked on that car in the pictures supplied was the split window.

Step 1. Paint it black
Step 2. have a new batman move endorse it
Step 3. ?????????

PROFIT????????

Also, I noticed something.. they got rid of those ugly rear tailpipes on the Detroit model one.. I have a feeling it will be a 120+ k production car...
