Possible ban of all Toyota hybrids?

I want them to fail miserably -- but not totally. I think Toyota has a place in the market...like Nissan, or Subaru: Legitimate, but non-threatening.

If these hybrids are banned, they will have only two routes: Buy the rights to the patent (and whoever owns it will no doubt nab them for ALL they're worth). OR -- develop a second hybrid platform all on their own, which will cost billions and TIME. They HAVE to go those routes, because otherwise, they'll lose the hybrid market completely! This would kill them considering some competitors' cars coming out. Specifically the Volt...

I hope the investigation reveals a true infringement. This is Toyota's achillies' heel. BREAK IT!
