I understand it is amore expensive car. I was just adding my agreement/understanding of wanting a Vette and stating my personal preference. Sounds like the OP has made a good decision based on his needs not my desires. Not a bad chioce in my book.

Sounds like you made the right choice. The Stingray is a Sports Car built for sport bodies, and the ZL1 is a Muscle Car built for bigger muscle guys.

I'm very physically fit with a sporty body, 5'5" @ 110 Lbs. I'd actually need the upgraded bolstered seats to help hold me in place! Pedal to the Metal is the way I like to drive!

800+ HP will be Insane! Great at the Dragstrip although I don't know how well it will do on the track. Could get really scary in the turns with that much power. Although it will definitely be fun to "Drift" around those turns.

Oh wow no wonder I couldn't even shift in the vette lol! Yeahhhhhh I'll definitely have to get use to going around corners at the track with that much added power

That's crazy. I'd rather have a new Viper. Dealers are dropping prices so much because no one is buying them. I saw one the other day for $90k, down from ~$140k. The new Z06s are starting to become just as common as all the other Stingrays.

Good decision, OP. You made the right one, in my opinion.

Good point! Viper sales have been dropped and although im a chevy guy id go with a Viper in a heartbeat! You just dont see them anywhere and if you do its the older gen's. At least here in good ol San Antonio, tx.

Z51 3LT is a great vehicle, it was my choice when I sold my Camaro.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm 5'11 250 though, so not sure if I would fit.

Seems as though a lot of 6'+ guys aren't comfortable in it. Glad to hear it fits you well. Love the Arctic White, that's my first choice, w/the Z51 pkg of course. Black rims a must, as well as the mirrors and rear spoiler.

Looks Great!

Forgot to mention the red interior, also my first choice, my only change would be probably the 2LT vs 3LT.

Now you see.... Those vettes are absolutely beautiful. But they are very very flashy. I just want both why can't I have both life struggles lol but regardless the vettes and the zl1's are both absolutely stunning cars I guess a personal preference really. I won't think about the stingray as much when I'm pushing 800 hp 🙏🏻

Thats exactly what I was going to post. My friend got the Z07 and it is an awesome car but I don't fit in it. I'm saving up a few parts and pieces and hope to push my ZL to the 750'ish range and drop it an inch with a few suspension tweaks and vwalla, instant renewed love of our Z's. In the long run the ZL will be a classic and the Vette just another Vette.

I guess it's not so much about the weight it's just the way I'm shaped my shoulders literally the end of the side of the seats are towards my shoulder blades. So my shoulders don't fit snug in the seats if you get what I mean
