I can't believe how many people in here don't understand the marketing principles at work in these ads.

All you guys that LOVE the Dodge ads, how many of you went and bought a Dodge because if them? None? Okay.

Plenty of people buy cars because a commercial (as stupud as it may be) made them like the looks of a car or were convinced to give something a chance they otherwise might not have.
Listening to Phil Collins and watching 2 Hellcats and a viper Burn tires and race each other in the Air tonight is still awesome though..makes me want a Viper even more..only unfortunate thing is not many people (me included) can afford a 60k Hellcat or 85k Viper

I think what we're asking for is bad ass Camaro/Corvette commercial to let the public know that there is performance over here as well. Transformers has had its time and now there needs to be a better sales pitch than " Oh look, a Camaro..." end commercial. Chevy needs its own kickass Camaro, Vette and SS commercial!

The Chevy commercials seem to be presented tongue in cheek...Not nearly as annoying as the Ford commercials with the women stating how "sporty" her new Focus is, or how her Fiesta is "Sporty-licious".

Actually that might be the same guy that made the GM commercials. I don't understand why people bring up the point that these commercials isn't for us when know that. It's still a horrible PR campaign.

I think the only car manufacture that pulled these type of commercials that looked good IMO was the nissan altima spots. They had the same cringe worthy bs in it (altima race car) but at least it got the point across clearly

I Love my Camaro..... but Dodge has the Best Commercials Hands Down....... Wish Chevy would advertise the Camaro and Corvettes the way Dodge advertises their Muscle Cars.... Even Ford has better commercials and TV shows that Highlight the Mustangs.... Chevy should change their Ad agencies to target the younger crowd..

Agreed. I sat up and took notice the first few moments I saw the Nissan commercial. But when they took the wraps off the "race" car and said it is just a regular Altima, I did an eye-roll that would make my 15 year old grand-daughter proud.

Loved the new Silverado commercial.

This cage is aluminum, this cage is steel. When the grizzly comes into the room, choose which one you want.... bwaahahahahaha. I'm sorry, but that is one big Grizzly bear, and I LOVED the commercial. Great one Chevy, great one!!

It's a crap commercial that has already been called out for its idiocy.

It's also a bit hypocritical considering GM is going to aluminum bodies in 24 months

I enjoyed the humor in it. But most of all, it made me remember it was a Silverado commercial. So it worked. Not saying that ANY or ALL commercials are the truth. I laughed and enjoyed it. If the commercial makes your remember the product, it worked. You do know I'm still looking "For the beef" when I go to Wendys.... it's still not there.

Maybe they should come back with "out-takes" where people got into the aluminum cage and the Grizzly bent the hell out of the bars.
