I wish Ford had a scat pack-like package. But i guess that would have required a motor between the 662hp 5.8 and the 5.0 in whichever form you wanna call their base.

If I was in the Challenger market i think the 392 equipped R/T would get my monies after a HadesFeline

There's The gen2 3.5EB. In Raptor trim it's 450+ and the FGT is 600+, so something like a Mach 1 with a 500-550 tune would fit the bill I'd guess.

First one I saw in person was a clean black GT with 20's and I thought that looks pretty good. I like it way better then the pics. I could see myself getting one. Since then I have seen many other colors and trims and have changed my mind. It was the black color and the wheels that hid the ugly of that first car. Just my opinion of course.

Ford did actually in the Mach 1 and the Boss models, they will probably come with one of both models again. I hope the Mach 1 with a Shaker Hood Scoop and about 450-460hp....

I just liked that the scat pack throws an upper trim level motor into a lower model.

i wouldve bought a GT with the 5.8 for 45k instead of my shelby for 55.

Many here are all about "Muh vee-8 motuur" ... but honestly I'd have no issue with what I mentioned earlier, a gen2 3.5eb making about 500-525hp.

Call it Mach1 and price it around $40k base and $45k premium.

Mach 1's and Bosses MUST have a V8, otherwise it wouldnt sell...

Could you imagine a Mach 1 with a 4 cyl. and a shaker hood scoop?

See that's the thing, in that pic at that angle it does nothing for me. But in person it looks sick. My favorite part of my 5th gen is how the "hips" of the rear fender flare out and flatten out on top to the rear deck lid, the mustang definitely took a styling que from the camaro in that aspect and it looks great.

Believe me, I understand the mentality. Especially amongst the enthusiast group. But this thinking is in the minority any where but in our circles.

But to say a car like a ttv6 Mach won't sell would be like saying it about F-series. Seems to be selling somewhat ok, wouldn't you agree?

More specifically, I've read on a few forums that Raptor won't sell on account of the new 3.5EB being The only engine option.

What I'm curious about is are those saying this type of thing are considering only their pov or that of the purchasing masses?

The "issue" that prompted my comment concerned Ford not having an engine between the 5.0 and the Trinity 5.8. Now soon there will be the 5.2, but I don't see Ford sticking it in anything but GT350. Now, a gen2 3.5...yeah, it's seems like it'll be common enough to make sense in said application.
