I didn't know that a maxima was a luxury sedan.

Well in the OP, one writer called it "semi-luxurious"(post #4)....so I didn't want to plagiarize

Anyways, found the pics from last years NYIAS

Still FWD=deal breaker for me. Not a fan of FWD cars. Must be a V8 and RWD or no deal. Good looking car though.

I don't know if the Maxima will be RWD anytime soon.. If ever. It would steal a ton of 370Z sales... But man it'd be awesome.

Nice interior. Not sold on exterior. Plus I'd rather have the Infiniti Q50.

I have had both a 3rd and 4th Gen Maxima and I really like the way the 7th Gen looks but this new Maxima is a big thumbs down for me.

As someone said before it looks like they are trying way too hard.

I think it looks good, but I can't understand the whole tail light thing. The rear shot looks good, and then they pan to the tail lights on the side of the car, why the hell do they go back so far!?!? Just end it at the rear!!!!

Looks absolutely terrible in my opinion. Looks like things and lines are just coming out of every which direction. No symmetry or smooth look like the Maxima's have always had in the past. BIG fail Nissan.

370 is a two seater sports car. Maxima is a luxury sedan, RWD or now...Completely different class of cars no matter what the drivetrain is.

reminds me of a new scion TC from the rear quarter angle and some of the other angles but but still looks like its been chopped and beating on from the looks of it. I think that they have ran out of ideas.

luxury car? So now it competes with Cadillac, Lexus , BMW, Mercedes and Audi cars ? Where have I been. I wouldn't go to Nissan if I'm looking for a luxury car but I guess.
