Ahhh, the joy of leasing. Drive it like you stole it for 2-3 years and hand it back over.

hardly a friendly reply no mater how many similes and lols you toss in.

Reading between the lines, you're looking down your nose at people because they disagree with you. Frankly, I judge people on how they interact with others, not on how they treat their cars. If your perception of others is how their car looks...you're a fool. It would be wiser to recognize how they carry themselves, and wiser still to recognize that how you carry yourself is how others judge you. Your shiny clean and pristine car doesn't stop me from seeing that a jerk with a clean car is still a jerk.

I agree..my my old neighbour had a jetta and golf. He was out all the time washing and waxing...I watched him hose it down when it was starting to rain. Anyway he was a total poundoff...with a clean car.

It's called being superficial. Many of the best and brightest professors in our country look like they're homeless. People who have good hearts and minds don't care what the outside looks like. It's all going to hell on a long enough time line anyway. Oh wait, there's always plastic surgery. Or, in car terms, a new paint job and some blacked out emblems.

I agree that your reply reflects poorly on your character.

Well that qualifies you to win the internet then. Congrats.

You're the one who needs to lighten up, Eleanor.

And some people look as cars to be driven. I have 30,000 miles on my Stingray since May when I got it. I track it, and have driven it cross country.

To each their own. Putting your nose in the air because someone likes to DRIVE a car is pretty pretentious.

I wash my car as often as possible, however I also occasionally have road dirt and/or water spots on it from those long trips.
