I think the driver mod has more to do with this than the tires, with great horsepower comes great responsibility. To go out and start racing around in a car with 1 hour of seat time this guy is nuts.

The point made about gap insurance is valid.

The mark-up was likely $15-20k and his auto insurance isn't going to cover that portion.

I'm pretty sure that guy was doing more than 40. I cry because that's an awesome car. If it was a camaro, just wipe the blood off reset the airbags and sell it again

Driver stupidity nothing more. I am surprised the crash hasn't been blamed on trying to avoid a deer yet. It seems that deer like to stalk and wreck high performance vehicles often.

How smart do you have to be to drive a 700hp car in Colorado in the winter. I know it's a challenger, but still a waste of a nice muscle car.
