These are all brilliant!!
![]() These aren't exactly "art" in the traditional sense...but I like to think of them as art in their own special way. As you will see - I'm more of a tangible/3 dimentional kind of guy as opposed to drawing...I just never got into it, I guess. The vase was done in 7th grade art class. Blew the teacher away, I might add, what with the flowers sticking out and all. ![]() ![]() ![]() And this is my proudest creation yet. 5' x 5' x 30" Kitchen Table. The table top is made of 1 1/8 inch particle-board (heavy as hell), but all the hardwood pieces are primarily made of Oak, with Walnut inlays in the apron, and the corners of the legs. A laminate surface was used because this is a heavily used piece, and I'd like to minimize any scratching. If you look close at the second and third picture, you can see a little groove transitioning the laminate to the hardwood. All done in my High School's wood shop in 12th grade. Took me just over 6 months at about 4.5 hours a week. I'm so sorry for the Huge amount of pictures ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Dragon what the he!!...talk about craftmanship the vase alone is impressive simply because I dont have a clue how you made it. That table I know what goes into something like that, my old man was a carpenter and that table is excellentBumblebee those portraits are beautiful I can say you know the gray scale. I wish I still had some of the portraits I did:( guess Ive gotta put up some more pics? |

I haven’t done any personal “art” to speak of lately. At least not since doing the graphic design stuff...
Here’s an example of what I do at work: ![]() Yup, I do those junk-mail thingies that fill up your mail box

I'll see if I can scan some of my drawings from school years ago. I found them all when I moved. I have a cool sketch that I drew of a subaru wrx ad for some company, and also a decent drawing of an apple.
