Dude, its only gonna hurt more in the coming days. Take my advise....
Buy a twelve pack put it in a cooler next to your chair in front of the TV. Take a two beers out. Put one in between your legs and drink the other. When you finish drinking it, take the beer from between your legs and drink it. Put another from the cooler in between your legs. Continue this cycle until your out of beer. Do this for 72 hours and you will thank me. No charge for this one!

I had a lengthy talk to my doc about everything before going in....including how many he's done and the complications. There weren't ANY issues with mine except for the fact that the anesthetic given to me didn't quite cut it. It just felt like a constant kick in the balls as he was cutting...but not THAT bad. (then again....anesthetic does not work that well in any fashion on me...strange) I'd recommend it. Just make sure you check out the doc who's doing it before getting it done. Find a friend who's had it done and have their doc do it. |

Have your wife do what I did for my hubby...
I laid his ass on the couch and gave him a steady supply of alcohol and painkillers. Lol..he seriously felt no pain for the first two day..and I KNOW that shit hurts..I watched him get it done. Definitely was no fun for him... BUT the upside? Now we can um...do it like bunnies with NO worries!!  Have fun after you heal!

I have had it done...four years ago, right after we had twins...I said "OK God, you win! I give Up" SO now my testicles are for decoration only...pretty ugly decorations, but decorations none the less!!! I did have some "phantom" pains a little while back, but it passed and now everything is fine....Now when I say "I love peas" it means something completely different...lol

It's much easier if you plan ahead and have your wife do it right after child birth. Our doc said that was the EASIEST WAY. If you miss that opportunity (and most do) then it's easier for the guy to get it done.
Saved me a kick in the balls....

It's no big deal. I had it done 17 years ago after my third child. A little ice for one day and I was ready to go. I will tell you, no heavy lifting for a few days. I went out the next day and built a snowman and lifted the middle section up and ouch! Everything has worked perfectly with no pain.

I'm still pretty tender today. But I've had Ice on "Heavy D and the Boyz" every waking hour since about 3pm yesterday. I woke up in alot of pain this morning. My guess is that I rolled over on them weird in the early A.M. I'm on the couch, loratab and ice are my best friends right now. I have went out and checked on my Camaro in the garage 3x today though
 My wife and daughters are a blessing. They're waiting on me hand and foot. It will be nice once I get clearance from the Doctor that I'm sterile. No more "no fly zone" time periods each month from my lovely wife.
