800rwhp is relatively safe with a built motor. The rods ALWAYS need to be replaced before you go over 700rwhp. Keep in mind this is engine is about 310rwhp stock.
It will absolutely kill your Camaro at a dragstrip. "Wendy" our LBZ is just 540rwhp (stock engine/turbo/injectors/CP3, it has tuning, exhaust, trans), crew cab, cuts 12.7-12.5 ET's like clockwork regardless of track prep on normal street tires. It's a fun daily driver, and will tow heavy. 20mpg highway.

Visit www. duramax diesels . com to ask about built duramaxes. Most of the racers hang out there.

And owner told me he pulled 15 passes with the built motor and trans. Just is tough as my car has been babied its whole life with 6500 miles and driven in the rain twice. Maybe if he would do a straight trade but the $6k on my end makes it really hard.
