Yea that video does sound a bit different and I swear I hear a slight whistling sound or it could be the tranny gearing down I dunno.

Word is that the 2nd prototype seen testing, which is what you see the most in that video, is some kind of an ecoboost model.

Sounds like open exhaust. On a different note, this site is going to explode when Ford publishes the Ring times if they beat the Z/28's time at a lower price. Call 911 now so they have enough operators ready to talk everyone off the edge if it happens.

Ford doesn't publish ring times. We begged for some from the Boss and the GT500 but they didn't want to play.

Oh they will now that the new car has IRS and the Z/28 has been released. They want to rub it in everyone's face that the mustang can go around corners..I could care less..Im all about straight line old fashoned racing myself.

Not at all buddy. The ZL1 still a great car. I'm excited to see these other cars do well; especially the Hellcat.

I find it suspicious that Ford introduced this car following the unvieling of the Hellcat's hp numbers...looks like they are trying to steal Dodge's thunder like they did with the ZL1's.
