I hate seats that don't fold flat. My trailblazer is like that and it really hurts the utility. I can understand it a bit more on a RWD vehicle but I don't get why it is that hard to do on something like this.

because im sure the NVH would be too high with a CVT and the 1.4T engine.

That's a good point. I haven't driven anything with a CVT that was mated to an engine with that low of a displacement. I have driven a 2.5 NA CVT altima, but nothing sub 2 L with a turbo.

It has available all-wheel drive, which inherently means the rear wheels need to get power somehow, most likely the same way a RWD vehicle does

Therefore, you understand why the seats don't fold flat, and your whole comment is moot
