do they realize how much money you are wasting on that thing. if the title was in your name only, id have said to go trade it in without their consent.... if it was "your" car, but oh well.

). Tire issue getting looked at tomorrow as well as fixing a bad blower selector resistor free of charge on credit (Yes, I actually have had so much work done that they have given me credit toward work) so she'll be fine.Probably get 6K at best. Nothing else is wrong with it, it just needs tires. If a deal I've worked out goes through, I may have a surprise for everyone by next Friday that is F-Body related.. ![]() On and it's not the Pewter Camaro.. that had it's motor blown under warranty according to konigsandy6 at LS1.com.

Yeah, lifters and pushrods were replaced.. rest of the car was ok. Though, when you're replacing pushrods and lifters on an LS1..
The new car, though..didn't have a single claim, and after calling the dealership they tentatively confirmed it. Going monday to test it, and will have pics if it's a go. |

'Nother Update
Just got back from Muskegon (I now love Lake Michigan more than Erie.. this is bad.) and saw the car parked right on the corner where the lot sits. It's a small dealer, and from their stock probably will play ball with my truck. Large mix of vehicles and the Formula was by far the most.. lackluster next to this one 07 Focus. Also, Pics cause I thought you'd want them. Most of the close ups show paint chips, and the ones of the wheel well and drivers turn lamp/bumper show where someone bumped a curb with it. It's gonna need some real repaint/detail work to get it looking good; but I can see why they priced it like it was. It really looked boring, perfect sleeper.

It's got the 6spd Stick. And you aren't kidding. You can just see the swirling walking past it at 3-5 feet away. Chips are done good too.
Gonna pop the hood tomorrow on an in depth inspection (hoping it doesn't rain again) and will get pics of the LS1 plant. |

Cliffnotes:
Went to Dealership Owner looked at 'ploder Gave me NADA Value of $2500 Told me to 'Get that pile of shit off my property' Went home Spent $540 on tires Found out CFC plan for the Focus failed afterall. (wasn't purchased like I was first told because bro refused to learn stick and drive the car like a whiney brat.) Later... Waiting to go back home to get front brake pads replaced that were missed during the original repair. Realized that Exploder is worthless moneywise but could replace the worse off Monte in the long run. Monte could be CFC'd for a 5spd Focus Coupe that I could start paying off.. Can't do Cobalt Coupe because we can't afford it. Could try GM Grad Discount and run the numbers.. but the Focus may be the likely replacement to the Exploder. Upside is that I may end up with a 5spd car due to the Cobalt/Focus 5spds being the only cars available via the Monte @4500 and by price. (Could get a 5spd SE Focus down to $11,500; Not sure about Cobalt LT) Last edited by Zabo; 08-10-2009 at 05:29 PM. |
