I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm sure that soon you'll be able to drive by them while they're sitting along the side of the road with their hood up. Just make sure you blow your horn and wave. It would be rude not to.

I don't understand how people can brag on them. Ford has been ranked at the bottom or near the bottom in all the reliability surveys for several years in a row now. It's always Ford, Lincoln, and Mini fighting it out for last place.

I ate lunch at a local diner today and there was a lady broken down and waiting for a tow truck, in the parking lot. She was driving a brand new Ford Taurus that she'd owned for 3 days. It has less than 200 miles on it. She was not a happy camper. So much for Ford quality!

You could do what I do when in-laws irritate you. Just don't go over unless its a major holiday, then you take separate cars from wife so you can arrive late and leave early just need good excuses. I work most holidays in the morning and work the day after so bummer i head over after work (have to shower clean up just takes so long sit watch little tv have snack, oh bummer traffic was terrible big accident took for ever to get here so bummed out honey lol)) and have get home to go to bed. Also by taking separate cars wife goes there real early to help out with stuff which means i have leave early also to let the dog out and feed him. So many great reasons to spend as little time with annoying in-laws.

I always get the stang crowd talking smack I just politely remind them that right behind the miata mustangs are considered the most desirable cars by women and gay men. It's usually the roid gym freaks around here that have them so I subliminally attack their ego lol.

When I was 18 my dad, (Mopar Head) told me if I bought a Chevy, I couldn't park it at our his house. I thought he was kidding until I can home with a 1978 Z28. He made me park it on the other side of the street.

It was worth the sacrifice!
