Yeah, definite turn off for me. I wouldn't mind people's choices to do something stupid but you never know who will become the addict and who will be able to walk away. Needless to say too many lives, careers, vehicles, etc. get destroyed by someone's bad decisions simply trying to escape reality for a few minutes. I'd much rather miss out on that experience then risk becoming an addict and wrestling with it the rest of my life.

It's a gateway drug for about half of the people who use it, most people that really like pot though just REALLY like pot and are content with it and the effect only start to lessen after yrs of heavy use for some. I know people in their 60's who smoke pot, have tried one of two other drugs and decided pot was it for them. Just depends on your body chemistry I guess.
