4.3L's the base engine across the lineup, although I believe if you go with an LTZ or SLT you get automatically upgraded to the 5.3L.

Didn't Dodge recently announce that the 6.4 Hemi would soon be avail. in the Ram? It's got 470/470.

you can get it in the 3/4 ton already, but it's significantly detuned.
