i think most people are in agreement that the Taurus was junk, but the Mustang engine in the SHO made it a junk body with a good engine.. lol much like the Lincoln Mark VIII

Alot of nameplates have sterotypes associated with the.. you know for a fact the camaro and mustang do. does that mean they should change the name?

people relate the camaro to white trash, mullets, trailer parks, and bbq's should chevy have renamed it?

As others have pointed out, Taurus was the best selling car in America for years. When it came out people oooh'd and ahhh'd over the looks (considered really aerodynamic). I hope it pays off for Ford, I'd love to see something from America take over in this segment.

But the wheels- ugh.
